These are general store policies only. Some product categories and individual products will have different return policies that supercede any policies on this page that contradict them.
Anything made of precious metal (Gold, Silver, Platinum) MAY NOT be exchanged, returned or refunded.
Above all else, all returns or exchanges are subject to the sole discretion of The Ashlar Company
Custom items cannot be returned. This includes but is not limited to rings, name badges and custom or sized apparel. Customizable items may not be returned. Antiques (items over 100 years old) may not be returned.

You are responsible for your return until it is received by our staff. We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
Please ship your item back via insured, trackable delivery.
Some items that have a manufacturing time associated with them can only be cancelled within 48 hours of ordering.
Items that can be returned may be subject to a restocking fee.
Shipping costs are never refunded.
If an ring ordered from us is off by more than 1/4 size of what you ordered, we will resize it to within 1/4 of the size you ordered at our expense. If you need your ring resized to a size other than what you ordered, it will be at your expense.
We are not responsible for problems with delivery once an item is shipped. If you have concerns about lost mail or theft in your area, we highly recommend you select additional shipping options such as signature required and insurance. Some items may require you to select insurance at checkout.
If your order exceeds a certain dollar amount, or if you are shipping to a destination outside the United States, you will be required to ship to the billing address of the credit card being used. If you pay by check or money order, we will ship anywhere you like.
All items purchased through a wholesale account are 100% NON-RETURNABLE.
All findings, trim products and trade products are 100% NON-RETURNABLE.
All shipments are sent via US Postal Service First Class, Priority Mail or Media Mail services.
Service Levels & Transit Times
First Class - The shipments usually have a tracking number, in the case of some international shipments or items that go into a flat envelope, there is no tracking number. Delivery within the USA is usually with 7 days. International delivery is heavily dependent on the speed of your local post. This is the slowest option for international delivery.
Priority Mail - These shipments always have a tracking number. Delivery time within the USA is usually within 3 days. International delivery while still dependent on the local post is much faster than standard first class mail.
Media Mail - All books are shipped via media mail regardless of what shipping option you choose. Media mail is designed exclusively for books and takes about as a long as first class mail. There are no tracking numbers.
The Ashlar Company does not under any circumstances ever pay your local import taxes, duties or tariffs. All import related costs are your responsibility. This is the standard for doing business world wide. If you receive an item and have an unexpected tax due to your government, you always have the option to refuse the shipment for a refund and avoid the payment but may not, depending on the items, receive a refund of any kind from The Ashlar Company.
Remember, if you don't see the Ashlar "A", it's not authentic.
