Summary
The Shrine Peace Memorial is located at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Canada. It can be found along the shores of Lace Ontario, in downtown Toronto. The memorial was presented to the people of Canada on June 12, 1930 by Imperial Potentate Noble Leo Youngworth. It was presented on behalf of the Ancient Arabic Order of Nobles of the Mystic Shrine to commemorate over 100 years of peaceful relationships between Canada and the United States. This striking memorial was created by Noble Charles Heck, and depicts an angel holding two olive branches in the air, while standing on a globe supported by sphinxes. and is situated amid a beautiful water feature. While you're at Exhibition Place, be sure to take advantage of it's multitude of attractions amid this 192 acre park.
