Summary
The Chancellor Robert R. Livingston Masonic Library of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York holds one of the world's largest collection of Masonic books, archival holdings, artifacts and memorabilia. Over the course of more than 150 years, the Livingston Library has been adding to the collection, by way of acquisitions and donations. The Livingston Library proudly holds the collections of the famed Masonic poet laureate, Brother Robert Morris. The library is open to the public and may access books and documents upon request, as for propriety, their stacks remain closed. Masons in good standing under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of New York may borrow from the collection. Any historian or student of the history and works of Freemasonry will find the Livingston Masonic Library to be comprehensive and invaluable. A must see for any traveling Brother in the New York area.
