Franz Liszt

Born October 22, 1811 Initiated September 18, 1841 Raised Died July 31, 1886 Franz Liszt was born on October 22, 1811, in Raiding, Austria. Liszt was a prolific pianist and composer, and was highly regarded by his contemporaries. Often hailed for his technical prowess and genre bending compositions, Liszt is now regarded one of the greatest pianists of his time. He invented the concept of Symphonic Poems and Thematic Transformation which infused a deep sense of artistic drama into his works. Franz Liszt was Initiated on September 18, 1841 at lodge Zur Einigkeit in Frankfort-on-the-Main. He finished his degree work the following year at lodge Zur Eintracht, in Berlin. Brother Liszt was called from labor on July 31, 1886.
