Wedekind George Christian Gottlieb Baron Von
A German physician and Professor of Medicine at Metz, and a medical writer of reputation. He was born at Gttingen, January 8, 1761. As a Freemason, he was distinguished as a member of the Eclectic Union, and labored effectually for the restoration of good feeling between it and the Directorial Lodge at Frankfort. His Masonic works, which are numerous, consist principally of addresses, controversial pamphlets, and contributions to the Altenburg Journal of Freemasonry. He died in 1831.
