Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on January 27, 1756 in Salzburg, Germany. By the age of five, he was already composing his own musical works and performing them before European Royalty. Mozart would go on to compose more than 600 works over his lifetime. To this day, his works are still met with approbation, and are considered the pinnacle of chamber, operatic, choral, and symphonic music. Mozart was Initiated on December 14, 1784 at Lodge Zur Wohltätigkeit (whol-tat-its-geit) in Vienna. Brother Mozart died on December 5, 1791 at the age of 35.
